Our Beliefs

Everything we do is rooted in the unshakable truth of God’s Word. We believe that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and that through Him we find salvation, purpose, and hope.

Jesus as the Only Way to Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9), and following Him begins with baptism as an outward expression of an inward change (Acts 2:38). Jesus alone can reconcile us with God and give us eternal life.

The Authority of Scripture

We affirm that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It serves as the foundation of our faith, guiding every aspect of life and offering wisdom, instruction, and truth (2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105). We believe that Scripture is the infallible source of everything we need to live according to God’s will and equips us to be transformed into the image of Christ.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, and together they are one God (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). The Father is our Creator, the Son is our Redeemer, and the Holy Spirit is our Guide and Comforter. This eternal and perfect relationship between the three persons of the Trinity reveals the very nature of God and His plan of salvation for humanity.

Repentance and Forgiveness

We believe in the importance of repentance and in God’s readiness to forgive. Through repentance, we turn away from sin and move toward a life that reflects God’s love and holiness (1 John 1:9; Acts 3:19). Repentance is not only a change of mind but a transformation of the heart that leads us to live according to God’s will, knowing that He is always willing to forgive and restore us when we come to Him with sincerity.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, empowering, guiding, and transforming us to live in a way that honors God. The Holy Spirit cultivates in us the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (John 14:26; Galatians 5:22–23). Through His power, the Holy Spirit enables us to live according to God’s will and to reflect the character of Christ in every area of our lives.

The Great Commission

We are committed to sharing the Gospel, answering Jesus’ call to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18–20). This mission of spreading God’s love and truth is central to our purpose at VidaXJesus. We believe that as followers of Christ, we have the responsibility to carry His message of salvation to the whole world—reaching those who do not yet know Him and strengthening the faith of believers.

Christian Living

We are called to live a life of sanctification, striving to become more like Christ. This journey involves pursuing holiness, integrity, and love in every area of life as a reflection of God’s love for us (1 Thessalonians 4:3; Romans 12:1–2). Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are transformed day by day to live according to God’s principles, growing in our relationship with Him and becoming witnesses of His love in the world.

Baptism

We believe baptism is a sacred act of obedience that symbolizes the believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation—the public declaration that we have died to sin and risen to new life in Christ (Romans 6:4). Through baptism, we follow the example of Jesus and affirm our commitment to walk in His ways. While baptism itself does not save, it is a powerful testimony of God’s saving work in us and a step of faith that reflects our union with Him.

Eternal Life

We believe in the promise of eternal life with God for all who believe in Jesus. This hope of salvation brings us peace and assurance, knowing that we will be with Him forever (John 3:16; 1 Peter 1:3–5). Eternal life is not only a future promise but also a present reality that transforms the way we live—giving us purpose and strength in our daily walk as we await the glorious day of being in His presence.
